To ensure you and your pet have a pleasant experience each time you visit our park, we have put together the following bits of information. We hope this will answer a few questions you may have and also explain the inner workings of our park. If you have any questions or would like to know more before reserving a slot, then please don’t hesitate to reach out using any of the methods displayed on our website.
[UPDATE] Winter season:
Water tap:
There is a water tap at the dog park and some bowls for users to take to the area they have reserved. Please return the bowl to the slab below the water tap when leaving. Please note that the water tap is turned off during the winter months (normally mid-November to the end of March) to prevent the pipe from bursting.
DISCLAIMER!
Keeping with the law regarding responsible dog ownership, you are completely responsible for you and your dogs safety and welfare whilst at Comrie dog park and surrounding private property. You should be in control of your dog at all times. Comrie Dog Park therefore will accept no liability for loss, injury or death.
User information:
- Please wear appropriate footwear
- In season bitches are welcome (excluding sociable sessions).
- Comrie dog park has the right to cancel any booking at any time (i.e. unsafe weather conditions)
- Any cancelled bookings can be rescheduled or refunded minus a 3%+20p handling fee.
- Comrie dog park has the right to refuse entry or evict customers from the premises if activities are deemed to be unreasonable.
- You will still be charged in full if you are late or do not turn up for your slot.
- Anyone remaining over their time slot in the field will need to pay for the extra slot and be discouraged from re-booking if they are a repeat offender.
- Please keep your dogs in your vehicle until previous users have loaded their dogs back into their vehicle.
- The only exception to this rule will be if the previous customers have gone over their allocated time
- Professional dog walkers will be allowed by prior arrangement. No sub letting of the park is allowed.
- Anyone hiring it on a professional basis can do so with management’s permission.
- Any owners who cannot get their dog back at the end of their session must notify Wallace. Any additional sessions used must be paid for.
- Maintenance – The hirer must remove all of their dogs’ waste and dispose via the waste bin provided.
- No litter is to be left in the field as this presents a risk to other users and their dogs.
- We inspect the park daily to maintain security but please notify Wallace if you have any concerns.
- During winter the field may be muddy and waterproof boots are advised.
- Children (Under 16’s) are welcome in the field but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- The secure area is appointment only and you have exclusive use of it, so there are no other people or dogs inside while you are using the area.
- If you arrived late to your appointment, you must still leave after your appointment slot is finished.
- Please contact Wallace if you do arrive late and I can let you know if anybody is after you and extend the appointment.
- If you arrive early and see somebody using your specific area, please remain in your car. Once the other person has vacated the field and safely put their dog in the car, you can get your dog out and into the area. If they stay past your start time and do not appear to be leaving, please call Wallace on 07707667017.
- The car area has low fencing around it, and there is livestock near the dog park, so dogs must be kept on a lead until they are safely within your booked area.
- The bin near the entrance is only for dog waste.
- There is a fresh water tap and some bowls for dogs to have a drink and also a watering can to wash down any loose waste.
- On leaving the field, please always close the gate.
- The field has over 6ft tall fences. However, if your dog is able to jump high fences the field will not be totally secure.

Code of Ethics
- Choke chains, prong collars and electronic devices are not allowed
- Harsh handling of dogs, either verbal or physical is not allowed
